Handy Removal Advice
-
Try not to over pack your boxes as this makes them very heavy, and could damage the boxes and in some cases slow down the removal process.

-
It's best to only use fragile tape for the items that are actually fragile, this makes a difference with how the van is loaded as in most cases fragile items are best placed on top of other boxes with no other heavy objects placed on top of them to ensure safe transportation.

-
If a parking permit is needed for your home it is best to arrange for this to be available prior to the day of the removal.

-
Try to keep babies, small children and pets away as this enables the move to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner for all parties.

-
It would be great if you could advise us before your removal date if you would like to travel in the van with us to your new home.

-
Please try not to pack clothes into boxes as it can slow down the removal and also take up unnecessary storage space in our vehicles, storage bags are a far better option and these can be purchased on Amazon, or we can provide them if you book a pack and move with us.

Why not set up a redirection mail service option once you receive your completion date so you don't have to worry about missing any important mail when you move out. This can be done through the Royal Mail redirection service www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/redirection.
